Through Sunshine Holdings Ltd. (SHL), a privately held company, a wide range of investors from within the capital markets have invested in or with the company as follows: as preferred shareholders of Sunshine Holdings or a subsidiary company and as an equity partner in a subsidiary company.

Inclusive of the market value of investment in publicly traded entities, the capital base of SHL is larger than any non-bank company listed on the Bahamas International Stock Exchange (BISX).

SHL has an exceptional record of conservative financing. Shareholders, rather than creditors, are financing approximately 75% of the assets of the company. There is no comparable record from any company listed on BISX.

There is a reflection of the commitment of shareholders to the core competencies of retaining the confidence of creditors as being trustworthy.

Based on total equity, SHL is larger than virtually all BISX listed non-banking entities.
